A Kerburn Rose share or business valuation report, whether for fiscal or non-fiscal purposes, benefits from being written by corporate financiers who are not only experts in the business valuations but have up to date and hands on practical experience of buying and selling companies.
Our valuation reports are comprehensive and include all the relevant background and facts relating to the business and the rationale used to arrive at our opinion of value. This means that a Kerburn Rose valuation report can be used for:
- Negotiation with HM Revenue and Customs
- Expert determination under Shareholder Agreements or the Articles of Association
- Employee share schemes
- Litigation – including expert witness reports
- March 1982 rebasing
- Divorce settlements
- Shareholder disputes
Our expertise also includes the valuation of goodwill and other intangible assets including patents, copyrights, trademarks, brands, titles and domain names.

Examples of Transactions
1. Kerburn Rose was asked by the Supreme Court of New York State to provide an independent valuation of a UK high technology precision engineering company. A valuation had been prepared by a US appraisal firm but this was disputed by the parties. We were able to demonstrate that the financial projections used for the purposes of the valuation were conjecture and highly erroneous. The Court accepted our valuation which was based upon actual financial performance and a properly prepared financial forecast.
